You don’t make it up but it really can be done in Aagtekerke, hight tea with alpacas! Mara and Jacco have been running their Alpaca Zeelandia since 2018. Later, they founded Stichting Alpaca Rescue Nederland. Here, guests can meet the intelligent, gentle but oh-so-curious alpacas. For the high tea, you can choose sweet or a combination of savoury and sweet. While tasting all the delicacies, you will learn all about your animal companion from an inspired staff member. They often include alpacas from the “rescue”. A good way to contribute to their (re)-socialisation. The alpacas know that they are not allowed to beg at the table and are quite happy with their own pre-moment. An experience for children and adults alike! And if you are lucky, you can also take them back to the pasture. What a wonderful sight to see 74 alpacas enjoying the beautiful Zeeland countryside!
