You are on Zuid-Beveland. For the most delicious seafood, Yerseke, ‘mussel capital’ of the Netherlands, is the place to be. You should also visit the Yerseke Moer, the old peat bog between Yerseke, Wemeldinge and Kapelle. In the Middle Ages, part of this area was dug away for salt extraction. Even now, you walk along special routes. Trips to places such as Goes, with its Goese Golf Club, Middelburg and Bergen op Zoom are easily made.
