Sint Annaland is home to Zeeland’s only regional produce auction and you can be there. Every Wednesday morning and afternoon in July and August, you can take a seat on the authentic benches at the auction.

You can operate the clock to get a good price for your favourite local produce. These include fruit and vegetables, but also salty regional products such as sea lavender and samphire. There are also products such as fish from Thool, eggs, Zeeland babbler, mustard and flowers from the island. But the auction is the only potato auction in the Netherlands. Here, every day of the week, traders still buy their products via “auctioning by auction”.

Opening hours

The auction is open to visitors in the months of July and August on Wednesdays from 11.00 to 12.00 hrs and from 14.00 to 15.00 hrs.
